Allerton TMD
Depot Operator: EWS

How to view the depot
- Allerton Depot can be viewed from trains running between Liverpool South Parkway and Hunts Cross. The depot can be viewed better from trains from Mossley Hill.
- The east end of the shed can be viewed from platform 1 at Liverpool South Parkway and also the footbridge from platforms 1-4. Binoculars are adviseable if getting numbers.
Birkenhead North TMD

How to view the depot
- Birkenhead North depot can be viewed form trains on the New Brighton and West Kirby lines.
- From Bidston station cross the roundabout and travel up the A553 (This is a long way to go so it is recomended you drive). Go left at the first set of traffic lights and along the road until you get to gate house. Explain to the security guard you are a train enthusiast who wants to view the depot and they will let you through.Continue to follow the same road until you get to the end. You will be able to see the front of the shed through the fence.
Chester DMUD
Depot Operator: Alstom and Arriva Trains Wales

How to view the depot
- Chester DMU can viewed from Merseyrail trains between Chester and Liverpool.
Edge Hill
Depot Operator: West Coast Traincare
Depot Users: Virgin Trains and Northern
Allocation: Class 08
Usual Classes: Class 08, 57, 142, 150, 390 and Tampers
Stored Classes: None
How to view the depot
- Edge Hill depot can be viewed from passing trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Mossley Hll.
- Some trains can be viewed from Wavetree Technology Park. Go out of Wavertree Technology Park station and turn left onto Wavetree Avenue, then turn left over the bridge and back over the railway line. Keep going till you get to a pond. The go across the grass and the depot can be viewed through the fence.
Kirkdale TMD
Depot Operator: Merseyrail
Depot Users: Merseyrail
Allocation: None
Usual Classes: Class 507 and 508
Stored Classes: None
How to view the depot
- Kirkdale can be viewed from trains between Sandhills and Ormskirk/Kirkby.
- Get off the train at Bank Hall. Go out of the station and turn left. Cross Stanley Road and stand on the grey box in the corner. Over the wall you should be able to view trains in the sidings at Kirkdale TMD.
